How Veridos ensures health, safety and business continuity during SARS-CoV-2 Information for customers and partners
During current times, we would like to emphasize that we accompany our customers and suppliers through this challenge and have established measures and provisions to play our role to ease the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
First of all, the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners remain our top priority. To ensure this we have established the following measurements and precautions:
Crisis management to ensure effective risk mitigation
We have set up a crisis team to closely monitor the situation and anticipate major changes, implications, and suitable emergency measures. The Veridos Management Board as well as the Managing Directors of our subsidiaries are involved in the crisis teams to ensure rapid decision-making. Additionally, general preventive measures are aligned and adapted to local requirements.
Precautions to ensure Health & Safety
Restrictions on travel activity: Due to recent travel restrictions, foreign trips are prohibited until further notice. To replace physical meetings, we are actively using digital alternatives to coordinate with our customers and partners as well as within the company. We strongly encourage our employees to practice social distancing and to avoid foreign travel.
Encourage our staff to work from home: Additionally, we have encouraged our employees to utilize the possibility of working from home. Therefore we kindly ask you as our customers and partners for your understanding and flexibility to use alternative options, such as digital meetings and teleconferences, as oppose to in-person meetings to stay in touch with us. For this, we have enhanced our technical infrastructure; enabling digital communication through video conferences seamlessly for our entire team working remotely.
Holistic approach to ensure our joint business continuity
Since the beginning of March, our business continuity plan has been put into action. We, therefore, can assure you that production processes and levels have not been affected. Within our production sites, we have deployed necessary measures for additional disinfection procedures to increase hygiene standards, while closely monitoring production processes. For now, visits are restricted and non-critical tasks with interfaces to the external workforce have been postponed. Moreover, we have developed a plan to ensure the continuation even in case of a Corona infection within the production team.
In the event that our supply chain, production, or transportation processes are affected by COVID-19 restrictions, despite all our precautions and mitigation measures, Veridos will notify you immediately, as even during these times we remain your trustworthy and reliable partner.
We strongly believe that communication and close alignment during this time is key – we, therefore, would like to reassure you that we are standing by your side and to thank you for your kind support in exploring different ways of communication and business execution.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will respond according to further recommendations made by the CDC and WHO.
Let’s join efforts and work to ensure that we overcome this challenge.
